Ret'd Dept. of Mines & Tech. Services 35 years service Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Saturday, January 20, 2001. Beloved friend and wife of the late William (Bill) Hutchings. Survived by her brother Vernon (Jeanne) MacFarlane of Kingston, sisters-in-law Phyllis and Reine MacFarlane, both of B.C. Predeceased by her parents Jessie and Thomas C. MacFarlane, brothers William (Bill), Thomas C. Jr., Robert (Bob), sisters Winnifred (Winnie), Margaret (Peggy) Barr, Mary Doris (Maisie) and Jean Allan. Betty will be remembered by her friends at Providence Manor, Kingston. Long time friend of Aileen (Darragh) Wills of Ottawa. Also survived by many friends from all over the countries she had visited. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue (at Richmond Rd.), Ottawa on Wednesday, January 24, 2001 from 12 noon until service time in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment Pinecrest Cemetery.For those wishing memorial dontations may be made to Providence Manor, 275 Sydenham Street, Kingston, ON.
