BEAULIEU, DOROTHY L. (COLLINS), 87, of High Street, died Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Manor in Bristol. She was the wife of the late George N. Beaulieu, Jr. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John Jordan and Anna May (Bateman) Collins, she was a resident of Jamestown since 1966.She received her degree in Pharmacy from the RI College of Pharmacy and her Masters degree from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. She worked at several Newport Pharmacies and was the staff pharmacist at Truesdale Hospital in Fall River, MA.Mrs. Beaulieu and her husband George ran the former Hunt's Drug Store in Jamestown where they were known as Mr. and Mrs.'B' to their customers. She was a member of the Jamestown Philomenian Library and the Jamestown Historical Society. She enjoyed crafting and making dried flower arrangements. She loved nature and life.She is the beloved mother of six children, Robert J. Beaulieu of Brooklyn, NY, Daniel C. Beaulieu of Jacksonville, AR, David C. Beaulieu and Diane L. Drown both of Jamestown, Roxanne M. Sears of North Kingstown and George N. Beaulieu, III, of Saunderstown; devoted grandmother of seven, great-grandmother of four. She was the grandmother of the late Corinne Lynn Godena Miller.The Funeral and Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, RI Chapter, 245 Waterman St., Providence, RI 02906 would be appreciated.
