Dennis Fitzgerald of Somerville, formerly of Billerica; 65 SOMERVILLE Dennis Fitzgerald, age 65, a longtime resident of Somerville, died suddenly at his home, Sunday, February 24th. He was born in Billerica, Nov. 26, 1942, son of the late Patrick and Elizabeth (Battcock) Fitzgerald. He was a longtime resident of Billerica before moving to Somerville. Mr. Fitzgerald was educated in the Billerica school system, and prior to his retirement, worked at Harvard University, as the manager of the Adams Dining Hall. Dennis was a fine Christian gentleman, and was loved by his family and friends. He didn't have time for anger but always had time to tell a funny story. He is survived by his brother, Thomas Fitzgerald and his wife, Sharon of Billerica; a sister-in-law, Donna Rea Fitzgerald of Billerica; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was the brother of the late James Battcock, John Fitzgerald, Patricia Galvin, and Rosemary Brady. FITZGERALD Of Somerville, formerly of Billerica, suddenly Feb. 24. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, March 8, at St. Mary's Church, 796 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. All other services were private, and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements under the care of the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, Billerica.
