Avis de décès de Denise Lajoie

SMITH, Denise, (nee Lajoie, February 4, 1942). With much sadness, we announce the sudden passing of "Mere" in hospital on Tuesday December 16th, 2008. She will be dearly missed by her loving and caring husband Robert and her beloved children and their families Steven (Gordon Josephson), Joanne (Claude Legare), and Lori (Jacques Martin). Affectionately known as "Mere" to her devoted grandchildren Curtis, Terron, Sabrina and Mathieu, it is the name by which she became known to many in recent years and it symbolized her caring, welcoming and kind spirit. She is predeceased by her parents Mildred and Rene and her sisters Therese Cleroux and Rollande Dumoulin and survived by her sisters Monique Jackson, Mildred Haakman and brother Emile Lajoie. We are fortunate to have had her for the time that we did and she will live on in our hearts forever. Her family will hold a private celebration of her life at a later date.
