SHEA, DAVID JOHN 78, Ocala - David John Shea born March 14, 1932 in New York City died Wednesday peacefully at home after a long illness. David was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He moved to Miami in 1988 where he founded the Miami Muscular Skeletal Integration Center for Pain Relief. There he shared his healing touch and therapy with almost 6,000 patients; working on world class athletes to chronic back pain sufferers. David and his wife, Connie relocated to Ocala in 2004. Connie continues his therapy today at the Ocala MSI Center for Pain Relief. David is survived by his wife, Connie, his four children: Barbara Shea - Kutt of Leesburg, Va, Stephanie Galardi (Dino) of Pinecrest, FL, Paul Shea of Swannanoa, NC, Lorraine Henry of Palm Bay, FL; two step sons: David Platt of Cope, SC and Robert Platt (Kim) of Miami, FL; and nine grandchildren and four great grand children.
