-> Mr. Claude Ellis Hadden, 76, died Wednesday at Candler Hospital in Savannah. He was born in Tattnall County and lived most of his life in Candler County. He was retired from the Candler County Board of Education as a school bus driver and maintenance supervisor. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the Cedar Street Baptist Church. He loved fishing and gardening. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Creech Hadden; sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Jeanette Hadden, Terry "Tab" and Lesia Hadden; daughters and a son-in-law, Pam and Bobby Cowart, Diane Monroe and Christy Schuman; brothers, Leon Hadden, Talmadge Hadden and Simmons Hadden; sister, Ann Williams; twelve grand children and three great -grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Cedar Street Baptist Church with burial in the Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
