->Hackett, Charles A. "Chip"Westfield, PA: Age 93 of 830 Bertch Rd., Westfield, PA passed away peacefully Feb. 23, 2011 at the Green Home, Wellsboro, PA. He was born Jan. 2 1918 in Leetonia, PA, the son of Fred and Leah Niles Hackett. He was a veteran of the US Navy where he was awarded a Purple Heart. He was retired from Corning Glass Works, worked at Elkland Leather Co. and was a life long farmer. He loved hunting, fishing, and building custom knives and was an avid Yankee and NY Giant fan. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joyce Butler Hackett; daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Leon Parker, Bradford, PA, Cathy and Jeff VanDusen, Westfield, PA, Melanie and Jack Kenyon, Elkland, PA, Lori and David Tomb, Westfield, PA, Deann and Alan Hanes, Virginia Beach, VA; son-in-law, Paul Truax, Lawrenceville, PA; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-grandchildren; sisters, Louise Kreisler, Lovedland, CO, and Leah Rhodes, Harrisburg, PA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a son Randy; daughters Virginia Hackett and Joyce Traux; and several brothers and sisters. Friends are invited to call at the Kenyon Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Elkland, PA Saturday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. where funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Deborah Watkins will officiate. Burial will be in Woodhull Cemetery, Woodhull, NY.
