Cecil B. Robertson, 77, Republic, died Thursday, November 27, 2008, in his home. He was born October 15, 1931, in Republic, Missouri, the son of Dee and Lorene (Gouty) Robertson. Cecil served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. His wife, Mary Lou (Hunter) Robertson; his parents; and a brother, Donald Robertson, preceded Cecil in death. He is survived by a daughter and her husband, Gayle and Lewis McGatha; a granddaughter, Christina McGatha; a brother and his wife, Larry and Teresa Robertson; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 6, 2008, in Meadors Funeral Home, Republic, with Rev. John Hicks officiating. Burial, with military honors will follow in Wade Chapel Cemetery, Republic. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m., prior to the service, in the funeral home.
