McKENNA, Brian It is with much sadness that the family announces the passing of Brian McKenna. His wife Marilyn, daughter Rhonda, son Brian, sonin-law Ian, daughter-in-law Lee and grandsons Brendan and Sheldon were with him in his final moments on January 10, 2006. He was a dear, kind man whose love for his family was clearly a priority. His strong sense of purpose and incredible work ethic was greatly admired. Brian was born in Ireland in 1931 into a family of 13 and worked hard on the family farm. He left for Canada at the age of 21. Brian made friends wherever he went and his legacy is to leave us all better people just for the good fortune to have known him. Despite his struggles with heart and lung disease he managed a daily walk with his dog `Max' and ongoing work projects. Brian is deeply missed by all. Have a good rest Brian. Your work is finally done. We love you. May the road rise to meet you May the wind be always at your back May the sun shine warm upon your face And the rains fall soft upon your fields and Until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
