ERMEL-BRYSON, Barbara Jean May 16, 1955 - January 27, 2015 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Jean Ermel-Bryson. She passed away unexpectedly while on a short visit to Cranbrook, BC. Barbara was Predeceased by her angel Sara Bryson in 2013. She will be mourned by her husband Jim, and many other family members and friends. Barbara was born in Regina & raised in Bethune, SK. She grew up with her parents Mervin & Jean Ermel, her sister Janet and brother Ron. They were a hard working family living & working a massive farm. Barbara met Jim in 1985 and married in 1986 and moved to the Island in 1989. They started their family when their angel Sara Jean was born in 1989. Barbara worked as a property manager at Pinewood Estates from 1990 until she passed. She touched and blessed many people in her life along the way. Barbara was a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, daughter, sister & friend. She will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Barbara's life will be held on February 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at First Memorial Funeral Services 4725 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Salvation Army or Women in Need.
