EAST LONGMEADOW - Alice T. (Talbot) Fenn, 77, a life long resident of Springfield and East Longmeadow entered into eternal rest on Friday April 22, 2005 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Ludlow, MA on February 15, 1928 the daughter of the late Lathus J. and Irene L. (Fontaine) Talbot. Alice attended St. Thomas Aquinas School and the former Springfield Trade High School, both in Springfield. She was a 30-year employee of Mercy Hospital in Springfield having worked as a Nursing Assistant and Patient Care Technician, retiring in 1993. Alice was a communicant of St. Michael's Church in East Longmeadow. Alice is survived by her loving husband, Edmond A. Fenn of East Longmeadow, two devoted children, Clark A. Fenn and his wife Susan of East Longmeadow and Donna M. Graziano and her husband Christopher of East Longmeadow, two cherished grandchildren, Adam C. Fenn and Danielle N. Graziano both of East Longmeadow, and two cherished step-grandchildren, Jennifer Elsinger and her husband Eric and their children Jaden and Carly of Richmond, VT, and Erin May of Springfield. She is also survived by two sisters, Yvonne Peery and her husband Donald of Belchertown and Jeanne Lamoureux and her husband Lucien of Springfield, two sisters-in-law, Alice Talbot of Penbrook, Florida and Janette Talbot of Ludlow, two aunts, Yvette Bourret and Cecile Fontaine, both of Canada, and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Alice was also predeceased by her two brothers, George and Roger Talbot and a sister Juliette M. Rheaume. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday April 27th at 9:30 a.m. at St. Michael's Church, 110 Maple St., East Longmeadow, with Rite of Committal in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam. Alice's family will receive friends at the Forastiere-Smith Funeral Home, 220 North Main St., East Longmeadow, in the Willow Chapel on Tuesday April 26th from 4-8 p.m. The Rosary and a Legacy Candle Ceremony will begin at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Alice's memory to Holyoke Medical Center, Yours For Life Campaign, 575 Beech St., Holyoke, MA 01040 or St. Michael's Church, 110 Maple St., East Longmeadow, MA 01028.
