Alice Pearl Fuller Amesbury, born in Lowell; 73 Amesbury Alice Pearl (McDowell) Fuller, age 73, of Amesbury, died early Monday morning, September 10, 2007 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington. She was the devoted wife of Wendell N. Fuller, Jr. to whom she had been married fifty-two years. Born in Lowell, March 19, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Alice P. (Baldwin) McDowell. After graduating from high school, she completed three years of nursing school at Lowell General and began a career as a registered nurse, working many years at the Amesbury Hospital. She was a very caring, kind, nurturing individual, always giving and doing for others, especially for her family, whom she loved so dearly. When time permitted, she did enjoy working on crossword puzzles and kicking back with a good book to read. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her loving children, Cheryl L. Quinn and husband John of Fremont, NH; Brian K. Fuller and wife Kathryn of East Kingston, NH; Pamela J. Clark of Salisbury; Karen S. Ort and husband Johannes of Maui, Hawaii; Scott A. Fuller and wife Patricia of Salisbury and Mark W. Fuller of Amesbury; her thirteen grandchildren, Joni and Nathan Quinn; Brian Fuller, Jr., Tara, Matthew and Nathaniel Clark; Kristie and Karri Ort; Michael Bunnell, Wendy Fuller, Jessica, Kyle and Maxwell Fuller; and her sister, Sheila Hardy and husband Gerald of Chelmsford. She was predeceased by her brother, Charles B. McDowell. FULLER Alice Pearl. A private memorial service will be held for the family. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Fresenius Dialysis Center, 260 Merrimac Street, Newburyport, MA 01950 or to the Ameican Diabetes Association, 330 Congress Street, 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02210 or to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701-4688.
